InDesign Type: Drop Caps

     Since I didn't have Internet until Tuesday afternoon, I looked over InDesign Type. Lately, I have been experimenting with drop caps more and more, in different ways. While reading the book, I came across a chapter on my new experiment. These elements can obviously hurt a design if not done properly. In my Stir prototype I used them to help the readers see where the story began because in my designs there were different sections in one story. I also used them if I started in a different start spot than normal. I don't think I would ever use a drop cap with a photo in it, but it was really interesting seeing how it's done.
